The beach neighborhoods get the salt-air articles and the gated communities get the concierge pitch, but the established streets off Gordon Road and North College carry a lot of hot tubs, and they have their own set of problems. If you own a spa in Murrayville or Kings Grant, your hot tub maintenance routine should be built around trees and water hardness rather than sand and salt spray.

These are inland-feeling neighborhoods that still sit inside a coastal climate. You are about eight miles from the Atlantic, far enough that direct salt deposition on covers is minor, close enough that summer humidity never really breaks. That combination produces a very specific maintenance profile.

What makes hot tub maintenance in Murrayville and Kings Grant different

Kings Grant is one of the older established subdivisions in this part of Wilmington, with mature loblolly pine and oak canopy over most lots. Shade is the defining feature.
